While visiting a longtime friend, VTL Corp team stumbled upon a hidden gem in Hau Giang province (Mekong Delta) —a sustainable eel farming system. 🌊✨
🌿 What makes this discovery so special? This farming system is a beacon of sustainability, completely free from harmful chemicals. It's all about clean, ethical, and environmentally friendly practices.
🌍 We're driven by a mission to make a difference. Local farmers in this region have long suffered from fluctuating prices and uncertain guidance from authorities. Many families here live below the national average. 🙁
📈 While China shows interest in eels, the margins for farmers are slim. The European market has seen a downturn, leading to a significant drop in orders.
🤝 But together, we can change the game! We're dedicated to creating a brighter future for the rural areas of the Mekong Delta and providing the world with sustainable, chemical-free eels. 🐟
🍽️ Our product range includes frozen whole round eels, gutted eels, headless, tail-off options, eel steaks, and more. Plus, we're flexible to pack according to your specific requirements.
🏛️ Supported by local authorities, our journey has the backing of the Department of Agriculture & Rural Development in Hau Giang. They assure us that our final products meet the health and safety requirements of every destination. 🌏✅
The Department is collaborating with professors from Can Tho University and Tokyo University on a project to qualify our eels for the coveted Japanese unagi market. This groundbreaking initiative has already begun and is expected to yield results by October 2024.
🌐 Our processing plants hold DL codes, allowing us to export to the EU, the US, and China. 🚢
❓ We value your input! How do you think we can further assist local farmers efficiently on their path to sustainable eel farming? Share your thoughts with us!
Let's make a difference together! Please send us your purchase orders! 💪
